In order to keep everyone safe and well at the festival, Liverpool Pride asks that you don’t bring your own alcohol on site – we will have a great selection of bars and refreshment outlets that should cater for every taste.
Liverpool Pride will be operating and enforcing a strict Challenge 25 policy at our bars. If you look under this age, are unaccompanied, and fail to provide valid identification when asked, you will be asked to leave the site. We take this opportunity to remind you that buying alcohol when under 18 or helping any one else to do so is an offence.
Acceptable forms of identification include:
- An in date photographic driver’s license or provisional licence,
- A valid passport (not a photocopy). Out of date passports will NOT be accepted.
- A Proof of Age Standards Scheme Card (showing the PASS hologram) available to anyone aged 16 years or above, available from http://www.validateuk.co.uk
Anybody found to be using identification that is not their own, will result in both the identification being confiscated and you will be asked to leave the site. This may also result in prosecution for both the owner of the identification and the individual fraudulently attempting to use it. Identification will be required at point of sale should you be lucky enough to look under 25.
On the spot checks will be in operation across the site at all times. Please ensure you keep your identification on you at all times and present it when requested by authorised event officials.
